Effective January 1, 2023, SBA assumed responsibility for certifying Veteran-Owned small firms. If you have questions, please contact SBA at vetcert@sba.gov . You can also call 800-862-8088, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. EST to speak to an SBA representative about the Veteran certification program or visit Veteran Small Business Certification.(sba.gov) Effective January 9, 2023 please visit Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) for all of your verification needs.Effective December 23, 2022, access to the Owner/Rep Dashboard was permanently disabled to facilitate the final transfer of Vendor Information Pages (VIP) data to SBA. If you are an owner or representative of a verified Veteran or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB or SDVOSB) and wish to report a business change, make edits to your business profile, remove your verified status, or receive a copy of your most recent determination letter, please send a written request to SBA at vetcert@sba.gov . This action was taken to facilitate the January 1, 2023, transfer of CVE’s verification functions to the Small Business Administration (SBA) as mandated by the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act. New applications should be submitted to SBA when they begin receiving new applications on or around January 2023.
